A Coffee Bar and a Roastery

We are a coffee bar on Geary Avenue with a 5kg roaster in the back room. It runs Tuesdays and Thursdays, and everything we pull or brew out front came off it. We bake the bread and the buns here every morning, so breakfast is a proper meal and not a pastry case. One room, eleven tables, open every day of the week: seven on weekdays, eight at weekends. There is no wifi and there never has been.

Come Sit Down

Walk in. If a table is free it is yours, and nobody is going to come over and ask how much longer you will be. Six or more is the one case where we need warning, because there is exactly one table that fits you and somebody else usually wants it.

Hold the Long Table
Transit
Ten minutes north of Ossington station on foot. The 63 bus if it is raining.
Parking
Green P at Geary and Dovercourt. The street turns permit-only at six and they do ticket.
Access
Step-free from the street, washroom on the same floor. The back room doorway is 90cm, which we know is tight.
Groups
Six or more, email the day before and the long table is yours.
Laptops
Fine before eleven. After that the room fills up and we would rather it was people talking.
